Plaza Vista was acquired through a joint venture with the special servicer, LNR, in October 2015. Friedman Real Estate was initially hired in 2012 as the property manager and leasing agent after Walmart relocated to a newly built store across the street. Friedman was able to subdivide the Walmart space and backfill it with Hobby Lobby and Cal Ranch increasing occupancy from 43% to 97%.
