Premier Equities purchased the retail shopping center from John Hancock Financial in June 2019 through a traditional sale process. Genesee Crossing is comprised of a 123,578 SF in-line retail center constructed in 1988, featuring a 50,000 SF box occupied by Forman Mills. The center is shadow anchored by a Target box and a freestanding building with smaller format retailers Jo-Ann Fabrics, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Old Navy. The subject is currently 70% occupied with good leasing momentum on the available building spaces. Premier immediately implemented a capital improvement plan, which included painting  the building, installing LED parking lights and replacing obsolete transformers, RTUs, and switch gear.
