Bay Valley

Project Description

Bay Valley Shopping Center is an approximately 360,000 square foot power center located on Tittabawassee Road in the heart of Saginaw’s retail district. Built in 1990, the center is one of central Michigan’s premier retail destination sites.

Following Premier’s acquisition of the property from Aetna Life Insurance Company in 1996, the company instituted an extensive redevelopment plan that included renovation of the center’s existing façade, re-engineering of the parking lot, installation of new landscaping and creation of a new pylon sign. As part of the reconstruction, Premier also demolished approximately 91,000 square feet of the center and sold the underlying land to Lowe’s for creation of a new retail home improvement store. In addition to Lowe’s, the center is now leased by Office Max and Hobby Lobby among others.
